More on the nature of music

I am interested in the way interpretation and experience resonates uniquely to every listener, performer, and composer. At the beginning of my studies that took me deeper into the nature of music, I was interested in structural parallels between music and nature, but I am now interested in perception; formal objects and qualities; and unique expression across unique groups of individuals. I have explored (I am never completely content, though) the depth of the nature of resonance and tuning in music, and believe that all systems of sound and lack thereof are valid in the creation of music.
